_{[ It didn't take her long to spot Nozomi, seeing as she was the only one here with purple hair and flipping through her tarot cards. Kotori smiled as she approached her friend, about to greet her cheerfully, but then she noticed that she was frowning. She never liked it when her friends were upset, so she immediately looked concerned as she greeted her. ]}

Nozomi-chan? Is everything alright?

_{[ It was rare for Nozomi to appear physically startled but the sound of Kotori's voice made her jump. Turquoise eyes looked up from the cards and softened at the sight of her friend. ]}

Sit with me?

<sub>[ She didn't want to talk with Kotori standing up like that. The other should at least make herself comfortable. She was in for a likely long talk...

Nozomi put her cards back in their deck and returned them to her pocket. ]</sub>

_{[ She did sound a bit too cheerful when she said that she would sit with her, especially when she noticed just how jumpy she seemed to be. Kotori was worried about her, obviously, so she did speak up again once they were seated in a softer tone. ]}

Is...everything alright? Did something happen?

Everything is....fine.

_{[ She didn't sound entirely convinced of that, though. In fact the words were spoken in a way that made it seem like Nozomi was trying to convince herself more than she was trying to convince Kotori. ]}

Well, something did happen. It wasn't a bad thing...Maybe in the grand scheme of things its a good thing.

_{[ It was a lie. It was bad for Nozomi. Her heart was threatening to ache out of her chest and no amount of comfort she found from her friends, new and old, even Ren, could stop it. ]}

_{[ The name left her mouth with a bad taste in it. She was still bitter and hurt. ]}

Ahah, Elichi went home, Kotori-chan.

_{[ Kotori frowned since she knew what that must mean, as Umi and the others had also "went home" even though Kotori was still thinking they might be around town, just lost. Maybe even the landlord was keeping them, but she tried to not allow herself to think about that or she will just get upset all over again. ]}

She...went where Umi-chan went. I'm sure she's safe, Nozomi-chan...I-I hope she is.

_{[ She couldn't reassure her, but...she was trying. ]}

_{[ She just nodded, staring down at her hands in her lap. ]}

I'm sure she's alright.

_{[ It was the first thing she said through the whole conversation that she sounded sure about. Her voice didn't waver in the least as she spoke. ]}

I'm sure she's home safe. As sad as I am about her leaving I'd know if something bad had happened to her. I'd....I'd feel it.

_{[ Even without her "spiritual powers" the two of them were so close. Nozomi was sure she would have known, would have felt something in her heart, if Eli was in trouble.]}
