[ There's a meow and a paw on her face in the morning when she's still a little asleep, and there's a Jun watching silently.

And there's another meow because there's a little thing stepping on the girl. ]

<sub>[ Kotori was used to waking up with cats either playing with her hair or pawing at her if Jun was awake, so she really didn't think anything of it. She just woke up and began petting the cat with her eyes still closed, but....this cat was a lot smaller than Jun's?

That caused her to actually open her eyes and see the cute kitten on her which brought a smile to her face. Obviously, she knew it was her birthday, but she didn't think much of it other than Jun probably got a new cat. ]</sub>

Ah...hello little one! Where did you come from?! _{[ She sat up and then looked over to see Jun watching as she pet the cat. ]}

Did you get a new member of the family?

[ He chuckled a little at her reaction, and took a few pictures with his phone as things progressed. You gotta save the moments, after all. ]

Ah, no. You did. [ And he did a rude and pointed at her. He's been scolded about pointing at people before, but doesn't heed said scolding. ]

_{[ Kotori pointed at herself just for clarification purposes, though then she put things together and her face brightened up. Her sweet brother got her a kitten for her birthday?! What a precious little kitty!!! ]}

Jun!! You really got me this?! Oh my goodness!! _{[ She picked up the small kitten and held it, smiling to herself since she was really happy! ]}

[ He nodded. ] Yes. I thought you'd get along. [ And who wouldn't want their own cat? Except those people like their "parents" who didn't get it. ]

I'm so happy!! You didn't have to do this for me--but look at her! She's sooo cute--Oh, is it a girl? I...didn't ask...oops.

_{[ She was so excited and wanted to give Jun a big hug right now, but she had a cat with her and she could not move since the small kitty was purring. Kotori had already thought about dressing the kitty with bows, though really even if it was a boy, she would still put bows on it. ]}

I know, but I wanted to. And she is. She doesn't have a name yet, so you might want to give her one.

_{[ Kotori smiled and patted the sweet kitty on her lap, playing with the blanket since she seemed so curious about her new home. ]}

Hmm...help me pick out one? Let me think!

_{[ Honestly, Kotori wasn't expecting to name a cat today so she only could name a few off the top of her head which were really cute, yet common, in Japan! ]}

What about...Hana...or Ichigo or Sakura--or Aimi because she's so pretty! What do you think? I can think of more if you want...

[ She is so different from his biological sister. Why couldn't he have been a normal teenager with a normal sister like her? ]

You know I'd only go for edible names.

[ Like all of his other pets. Only Suzu doesn't have a food name, and that's because he wasn't the one who named her. ]

That's right...I never noticed that they were named after foods!

_{[ Kotori should have noticed, but then again it didn't register especially since Suzu was one that didn't have a food name, apparently. ]}
